Description | : | Dietary deprivation (DD) enhanced stress resistance. DD enhanced resistance to oxidative stress from paraquat. Adult day 3 fem-1(hc17) worms were transferred to DD or ad libitum (AL) conditions with 2.5 or 6.25 M paraquat. DD increased mean and maximum survival on both paraquat concentrations, 2.5 M paraquat, 29.5% increased mean survival; 6.25 M paraquat, 26.1% increase. | ||||||
