Description | : | RNAi increased maximum lifespan by about 30%. Reducing the levels of eIF2β or eIF4G did not extend the lifespan of daf-16 mutants at all. eIF2β and eIF4G RNAi slightly shortened the lifespan of daf-2 mutants. sir-2.1 deletion mutant was subjected to sir-2.1(ok434), to RP, S6K, TOR or eIF RNAi - In each case, lifespan was extended. | ||||
